I had an outstanding experience with South Shores Animal Hospital and can’t recommend them enough. My dog, Prince—my 120 lbs Italian Daniff—recently underwent a laparoscopic gastropexy along with his neutering procedure, and the level of care we received was exceptional from start to finish. Dr. Clause and his team were professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely compassionate. They took the time to explain the procedure in detail, which gave me a lot of confidence going into surgery. Given Prince’s size and the complexity of the procedure, I appreciated how attentive and thorough the entire staff was in ensuring his safety and comfort. What really stood out to me was how well they treated Prince—not just as a patient, but like family. The post-operative care instructions were clear, and their follow-up showed they truly care about long-term outcomes, not just the procedure itself. Prince is recovering well, and I’m grateful to have trusted such a skilled and caring team with his care. South Shores Animal Hospital and Dr. Clause have earned my full trust.

Dr. Claus takes great care of our 2 dogs. Always shows them so much love. They love going to see their vet whether it's for shots, teeth cleaning or just a general checkup. We have a Giant Schnauzer and a Miniature Schnauzer.

Best Vet around!! I bring both my cats Ace and Kitty to them and have been since their birth. They are always so nice and friendly. Their care is Top Notch and prices are fair. I would recommend South Shore to all Pet Owners

Me 3 dogs, one at a time have received outstanding care from Dr Claus and his other Vets for now going on 24 years. Through all the things our dogs have needed medical, including boarding when we vacation, they are great. All my dogs “liked” to go visit SSAH BECAUSE EVERY ONE THERE CARES ABOUT THEM AND TREATS THEM LIKE THEY ARE FAMILY. . As for whih services did we get the answer is for everything, accept ICU services, and we highly recommend pet insurance. We have had that experience at an ICU Hospital too and the bill was $6000. My dogs and I Thank God for pet insurance as a matter of love!

This is the most efficient and caring veterinary clinic I've used in Las Vegas. They are a little far from me, but so worth the drive. Dr. Noda communicates often with updates. I'm so glad I found them.
