3.0Gäbi Coffee is a super cute and welcoming café! They’ve created a cozy, bohemian atmosphere that makes you want to sit, relax, and stay for hours. The staff is friendly, and the overall vibe is one of the best things about the place. The food is very good. Nothing I tried was particularly groundbreaking, but everything was clearly prepared with care and quality ingredients. They also offer an extensive menu with a great selection of sandwiches, desserts, and coffee drinks. Unfortunately, the pricing is where they lost me. I ordered a ham, egg, and cheese croissant, a bag of potato chips, and an apple juice. After tax and tip, my total came to $31. In my opinion, a meal like that should cost closer to $20–22 all in. It’s disappointing because the café has so much going for it. I genuinely hope they reconsider their pricing, as I’d love to see more people experience the wonderful atmosphere they’ve created. As it stands, the value doesn’t justify the cost for me, so I don’t see myself returning.
